From the small tailless whip scorpion to the majestic Amur tiger, the zoo offers a unique educational and recreational experience for visitors of all ages. Zoo Boise’s newest addition is a 1.5-acre expansion replicating Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique, Africa. The state-of-the-art exhibits feature more than 20 species.
The Ford Idaho Center complex is truly a multi-purpose venue conveniently located in Nampa, Idaho. The Ford Idaho Center consists of the indoor arena, an outdoor amphitheater, a sports center, and a horse park. They host events from large concerts to local sporting events, as well as rodeos.
Get lost in lush gardens! The Idaho Botanical Garden is a 15-acre tapestry of dappled shade and vibrant splashes of color. Nestled in the Boise Foothills, located in the heart of Old Penitentiary Historic District, the Garden promotes gardening in the Treasure Valley using native and domestic plants that are adapted to the intermountain region. The Garden is home to over 800 species of plants, from 42 families, located in 14 specialty gardens.
